Air Fryer Cheeseburger Wraps

Air Fryer Cheeseburger Wraps combine the juicy, classic flavors of a cheeseburger with the crispy texture of an air fryer, all wrapped in a soft tortilla. Quick and convenient to make, these wraps offer a customizable, family-friendly meal that is deliciously melty inside and perfectly crunchy outside, ideal for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef (lean or regular)
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar or American Cheese
  • 4 Flour Tortillas (soft and sturdy)
  • 1/2 cup finely diced Onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced Pickles
  • Ketchup, to taste
  • Mustard, to taste
  • Olive Oil or Cooking Spray
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Optional Ingredients

  • Lettuce, as desired
  • Tomatoes, sliced, as desired
  • Diced Jalapeños or Hot Sauce, for spice
  • Alternative Cheeses (pepper jack, mozzarella, Swiss)
  • Avocado slices or Guacamole

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef Mixture: Season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Cook it in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Stir in finely diced onions and cook until they soften slightly.
  2. Assemble the Wraps: Lay a tortilla flat and add a generous spoonful of the beef mixture in the center. Top with shredded cheese, pickles, a drizzle of ketchup and mustard, and any optional veggies like lettuce or tomato. Fold the sides in and roll tightly to form a neat bundle.
  3. Prepare for Air Frying: Lightly brush or spray the outside of each wrap with olive oil or cooking spray to ensure a golden, crispy finish.
  4. Air Fry to Perfection: Place the wraps in a single layer in the air fryer basket without touching. Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through for even crisping. The cheese should be melted and the tortilla golden brown.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Let the wraps cool for 1 to 2 minutes before slicing in half to reveal the melty, juicy filling. Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Do not overfill the wraps to avoid soggy or bursting wraps during cooking.
  • Cook at medium heat (around 375°F) for crispy, evenly cooked wraps without burning.
  • Flip halfway through air frying to ensure all sides are evenly browned.
  • Allow wraps to rest briefly before cutting to let the cheese set for cleaner slices.
  • Experiment with different toppings and sauces to suit your taste preferences.
