Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 6 tablespoons salted butter, melted

Filling

  • 24 oz (680g) full-fat cream cheese, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or sour cream
  • 34 Twix bars, chopped (reserve extra for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: Melt the salted butter and mix it thoroughly with the graham cracker crumbs until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan to create an even crust layer. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
  2. Make the Cream Cheese Filling: Beat the room temperature cream cheese and granulated sugar together until smooth and creamy with no lumps. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract and heavy cream or sour cream until the mixture is velvety and well combined.
  3. Add the Twix Bars: Gently fold chopped Twix pieces into the cream cheese filling, distributing them evenly while avoiding breaking down the candy bars to maintain crunch.
  4. Bake the Cheesecake: Pour the filling over the chilled crust and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake in a preheated oven at 325°F (160°C) for 50 to 60 minutes, until the edges appear set but the center is slightly jiggly, ensuring a creamy texture.
  5. Chill and Garnish: Allow the cheesecake to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to fully set. Before serving, garnish with additional chopped Twix and optional drizzles of caramel or chocolate sauce for extra indulgence.

Notes

  • Use room temperature cream cheese and eggs to avoid lumps and ensure a smooth filling.
  • Mix the batter just until combined to prevent air bubbles and cracks during baking.
  • Using a water bath while baking is optional but helps keep the cheesecake moist and prevents cracking.
  • Fully chill the cheesecake before slicing for clean and firm cuts.
  • Use fresh Twix bars for best texture; stale bars might become soggy and lose crunch.
